34: Peterborough City employee D. Yaxley found these items and human remains in 1960 while installing a parking meter on Brock St. This panel explains how the Royal Ontario Museum verified that the remains were of a male in his 40's who died about 2,000 years ago. In the 1990's the City Museum and Archives repatriated the remains to the Curve Lake First Nation for a traditional reinterment. Resin casts of the original items are shown below.
